Know Your Rights
Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is a national network of groups and individuals working to mobilize white people for racial and economic justice. SURJ believes in collective liberation and the importance of taking action against racism and oppression.
There partners came to me to design a series of “Know Your Rights” posters designed to inform immigrants in Maine about their legal rights when interacting with police and immigration authorities. This project aims to empower individuals by providing clear, actionable steps to protect themselves in various situations.
